My mom always kept bread in the fridge. It always pissed me off because you'd make a sandwich and the bread would be all hard. Pretty sure it takes like 3+ weeks for store bought bread to spoil. Sometimes the store has the fawkin 2 for 1 deal and I cant pass it up but I also can't eat that much bread before it spoils so one goes into the freezer.
