Yeah they're really annoying, but Pierce Brosnan has a pretty dreamy voice. I liked him as the ultrahouse in the simpsons treehouse of horror.

They're mostly formulaic garbage. Even the better ones aren't comparable to actually great movies.

The old ones are a fun dumb watch. They dress up what amounts to a 12-year-old's power fantasy into a cool epic. They're the definition of 'mindless entertainment', which isn't synonymous with 'low effort' or 'poorly-made', as much as modern Hollywood and its shills would like it to be.

Never seen it. I actually played the game the other week with one of my many friends, child. First time in like 25 years. It doesn't hold up.
Craig does have an incredible body for his age, though his face is unfortunately butters and his acting is big boring, if not absent.
The only Bond film I acknowledge is On Her Majesty's. It's the only interesting one, because it shows us a spy who is effete, weak, scared, on the lam, and not having a glamourous macho time having car chases like a rubbish comic-book character. His WAG dies in it, as well, which gives us more stakes than just watching him bonk a bikini model (iirc he does pursue a mob daughter, but reluctantly and only as part of the mission)
Lazenby had such a sweet endearing face and purses falling out of his mouth. He was trying his hardest.

That’s the worst one. It’s full of lame nods to Connery which just made you think “yeah this guy isnt Connery, he sucks”, he wears a frilly shirt, and the death of his wife is absolutely comical. Old frau rolls up and drive bys her, then they just run off without killing their a tual target. It’s awful. There is no point to any of it, but “film buffs” consistently try to overrate it for some of the reasons you stated.
Bond is just dumb, mindless action and laughing at the ways he kills or incapacitates people. The movies stink when they try to be serious at all, such as OHMSS or Skyfall.

I think in the last one they set it up so that Jamaican lady could take over. Obviously that would be the destruction of the series.
