Britain used to have a genuine 'pub culture', they were spread throughout communities & everyone had their 'local'. It's been dying-out for 10+ years. Only town centre ones survive now & it's a different vibe.

there were a few but meeting women was more of a town centre thing, so it'd mostly be geezers in local pubs but we'd go into town for girls (so you dressed-up, etc). Different vibe in both but totally cool.

Back in the day they were probably a great time and a prime place to meet like minded folks that hate faggots. Now a bar is a place you avoid because you know which faggots from high school still patron the same fucking bars from when you used to drink underage.
