Why is this game so good? I hate modern video games but this one truly fascinates me. It's so fucking difficult, like it's not like you're playing a video game. It's what it'd be like if you were put into that world... you'd be fucked.

I got past the first or second boss and then was completely fucked getting past more monsters, they were too strong for me.

It's like playing in a literal nightmare.

Strong contender for my favourite game ever. The first half is incredibly strong.

The combat is fucking gay. I don't want to have to stop mid-fight several times to fuck around in a menu. I got nuts deep into da Blood and Wine, got stuck and lost all interest in the entire series. Gary of Rivia can fuck off.

WWAW da Elden Ring?

I hated Elden Ring honestly. It's just Dark Souls 3 watered down with worse bosses and combat, horribly imbalanced and a tedious, empty feeling world. I was done after Maliketh, just googled the other bosses, realised they were even worse than the previous bosses, and cut my losses.

Fuck them for making 200 identical caves with reused bosses and terrible loot. it's insulting.

It's very rewarding and it's not really that HARD. It's 'hard' at the beginning, but once you start leveling your character it becomes easier and you can always summon someone for help if you're ever having trouble so you can really make the game as easy or hard as you want. I highly recommend the Demon Souls remake on PS5.

Wait I can summon people in dark souls? When I got stuck I was dying after like two hits from there monsters and had no potions or whatever to make my HP higher. I was fucked and sort of cornered. So I gave up.

The Demon's Souls remake is an abomination. They ruined the art style of the original that it feels like a shitty souls clone even though the same gameplay is there. I was disgusted by it.
