Why is this game so good? I hate modern video games but this one truly fascinates me. It's so fucking difficult, like it's not like you're playing a video game. It's what it'd be like if you were put into that world... you'd be fucked.

I got past the first or second boss and then was completely fucked getting past more monsters, they were too strong for me.

It's like playing in a literal nightmare.

Yeah, it's pretty timeless.
Elden Ring is fun but I just wish they had a world like the first one again, a nice interconnected map, with no open world fat.
Nothing better than finding a short cut inna souls game.

I rage quit for months when I couldn't make it through the poisonous swamps.

I still have to go back to Sekiro and Elden Ring to finish them. But I'm hesitant because they might be too difficult for me.

Never heard of Elden Ring. So is it better than Dark Souls? I've never played a new game that was actually good. This forum motehrfucked me saying Tears of the Kingdom was good, and Harry Potter SUCKED.

It’s basically just Dark Souls in a giant open world. Made by the same people. I’d say Dark Souls 3 is better though, play that first.

I disagree with this. Every weapon type in Dark Souls 3 feels the same and it's mostly "remember this area from Dark Souls? Here it is but slightly different" it's worth playing but Elden Ring is better than 3 for sure. The DLC for 3 is better than the base game of 3 so it's a tough one, genuinely.

Final Sekiro boss took me probably 7 hours over a couple days of trying. I lost count how long it took me to beat Malenia. My great sword build clearly wasn't made for her that's for sure.

Personally I found the open world to be frustrating. It obviously looks much better than 3 and is more original but I’ve gone back to 3 more. Might just be because it’s easier tbhwy.
