People in countries with universal Healthcare are constantly batching about the state of healthcare-- it takes forever to be seen and in a lot of cases it's very difficult to get the necessary imaging tests done (MRI's/C-scan).

It takes forever to be seen in the US also. I literally had to wait 8 months just to get an appointment for a yearly physical with my GP.

At least with universal healthcare you won't have to worry about going bankrupt from an ER visit. It's also been consistently shown that patients are getting better results in the developed countries that have universal healthcare versus the US. It's a much more honest and transparent system too compared to what we have in the US where many doctors are pretty much just trying to milk as much money as they can from Patients/insurance companies and letting their Hippocratic Oath take a back seat to maximizing profits.

Trust me, the US healthcare system is shit and is pretty much the laughing stock of the rest of the developed world and hell even the third world. I worked in commercial health insurance for a number of years so I've seen first hand how bad it is. Obviously no system is perfect but universal health care would be infinitely better than the system we currently have. This is pretty much the one issue I actually agree with the left/democrats about. Capitalism has absolutely no place in health care.

A top of the line family plan is closer to $3,500 a month. $300 wouldn't get you jack shit. The only way $300 gets you a good health plan is if your job is subsidizing it and including it in your total comp.

That being said uhc is a terrible idea in the US. Every euro fag who tells you how great it is ignore that:

A. All their examples are euro countries that are high trust 90% homogeneous countries that aren't filled with worthless savages that contribute nothing to the system.

B. US government run programs are always completely bloated and filled with waste
