They really fucked up that album by letting Pharrell on a bunch of songs. It turned it from a daft punk album into a fucking Pharrell solo EP with some shitty daft punk tracks on it.

They were fantastic for 10 years and then became mega gay.

Justice only has one true classic album vs Daft Punk’s two, but they have managed their overall career much better IMO.

Listen to this and then Random Access Memories really puts into perspective how fucking terrible that album is.

Pharrell peaked at Lapdance with NERD and has fucking sucked ever since. I’ll die on that hill.

I saw NERD on tour right after they re-recorded that album with Spy Mob as their backing band.

It was the Sprite Liquid Mix Tour at the World Theater in Tinley Park IL. 311 and Jay-Z were on the bill. Hands down the best rap performance was Nappy Roots.

NERD’s set was funny and interesting. They sounded great, but Pharrell kept trying to talk about Steely Dan and got zero crowd response from the black audience. White stoners and skaters were going nuts during the songs but the blacks just stood stone still. Then Pharrell was trying to get the blacks to mosh and shit with zero result.

Was a pretty fun tour, I wish I hadn’t been a faggot back then.

Had the pleasure of meeting Pharrell at a charity do once. He was surprisingly down to earth, and VERY funny.
