Change my view: Canadians are annoying

I’ve worked with enough Canadians to know that they’re annoying and constantly trying to prove their superiority over the US. I’m not going to get into all that but I’ve found Canadians to be overly literal, put too much focus on inconsequential details, and have dumb accents. Also, for a country that doesn’t have free speech laws, they sure seem to tolerate a lot of general complaining and whining.

And just so everybody knows I’m being fair and balanced - the two times I got sexually harassed at work were by Canadian women. They were pfg.

Canada is very intimidated by its southern border. They would have not even ventured out west as fast as they did except the Lewis and Clark expedition made them panic, and forced them to survey and claim their shit before the Americans did.

The only way it is politically correct to show any sort of Canadian pride is by pretending to be as non-American as possible while being culturally indistinct from Americans. It's almost like a separatist nation, except we were never part of America, but for some reason we're completely unaware of that fact. Freedom of expression is protected by the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, but the whole thing isn't worth the bar napkin the senior Trudeau scribbled it on because virtually all the rights are subject to the not withstanding clause, which dictates that should your rights become inconvenient for a majority government they can be voted away. 2 wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for dinner.
