Threatening that he'll go to jail would actually draw attention and mockery, since it's not going to happen and looks desperate and sad.

Not only that, it would verge on actual defamation. If Pig ever went "You're going to prison for your many crimes against me, stlaker" to EVS, all the latter has to do is post a stern "Which crimes, specifically? Spit it out, Rick", and Piggy would have to slink away. It'd be doubly hilarious because EVS is way more successful and Rick is broke and in debt from another lawsuit, and they both know that.
