If you look at this place on google maps, it's a huge venue that they pack out sometimes. Joe couldn't fill a closet if he had to. Very wise of them to cancel this embarrassment. Also very nice of Joe and all of his friends (including Sea Hag) to shit talk this venue and another local one (89 North) publicly when he is trying to be a working musician in the area. Smart.

Joe's only shows should be as background music in restaurants and cruise ships. He needs a captive audience and can't draw on his own. I wish they hadn't canceled this gig because it would have been great to see him play an empty hall.

Joe is such an endless well of embarrassment. Imagine you’re a professional performer, you supposedly promoted the fuck out of a gig, you sold 14 tickets, and you not only blame someone else but get on social media to do so. It’s nice that he has enough enablers that he can maybe believe that’s why his stupid act is selling less tickets than the dollar theater.

I genuinely can’t possibly imagine why any venue would pay Joe to play. He’s already singing poorly over prerecorded tracks, does it not make more sense to just spend $100 on a Bluetooth speaker? The speaker won’t show up in a trashy cutoff tshirt, the speaker won’t rant between songs about how Biden is somehow still ruining the world, and the speaker won’t go online and act like a prima donna.

Yeah looks like a nice venue on yelp! The pests would've packed this place back in the day. Check out this Van Halen tribute band:

Joe needs to promote blowing himself up with dynamite like Daffy Duck to get the crowd he wants

His boomer LI white trash enablers are the best part. They act like he’s some big star because he plays cover songs at local bars. I remember he even bragged about running into a Long Island LEGEND - that was some old guy that played cover songs in bars. That’s not a legend in any sense of the word.

Speaking of his fans - where brain tumor Charles Kos? He’s been very silent - he was joes number 1 fan next to crusty Joann

Im sure Joe is promoting himself in no way. Word of mouth on FB aint gonna fill the bar/mall food court/parking lots

If Joe is such a great guitarist, why is he not doing session work ?
That’s the extent of his promoting - a FB post. Usually buried between rants about Biden and fights with the “HNIC” at various places.

I wonder if they booked Joe because they confused him with better tribute act - this Van Halen one obviously puts work into it (outfits / stage set up / banners / etc.) while Joe’s act is pretty much him and some other guys standing around doing mediocre covers.

There’s a dive bar near me that books a lot of “tribute” acts yet that are Joe type level - they call them a name of a bands biggest song / album and happen to play covers all from that group. Place gets maybe 50-75 people on average (it’s not a big bar) and that sounds like typical place for Joe’s Steely BAND act.

Right, this looks like a gig that can actually draw some people. Joe sitting on stage in baggy wrangler jeans, a sleeveless SOA shirt, and his 82nd Airborne hat surrounded by his digitech looper while he karaokes his way through old songs is not something anyone wants to see. I'm shocked they even sold 14 tickets.

I’ve noticed over the years there’s two types of “tribute” bands - ones that are actually good to great musicians and put a lot into their performances (big stage show / lights / banners / outfits / try to impersonate them / etc) that can actually be expected to charge for tickets as you’re getting a good show visually and musically (for example the group Heart stated as a Zeppelin tribute act, Journey and Judas Priest hired guys from tribute acts, etc)

Then…there’s Joe type tribute acts that will forever play dive bars and would do much better booking gigs if they played a variety of cover songs - not just one group. I know the Zep cover “Get The Led Out” has been touring the country for years playing good size venues but they can actually play. Joe is straining to even come close to the right notes vocally and sits on a stool like an old fat guy while playing to pretty much karaoke music backing tracks.

I laugh at them because they're all the same.

Good to know he cant even pack an event that is just him playing. Seems he is doomed to play for free meals and enough money to pay the cell phone bill. Its just not sustainable. Good thing he blew $500 on a new BBQ grille for all those summer parties he will never have.
