Look, I've said this before, and I don't come from a place of attacking anyone for their opinions - it gets you nowhere - I've met some wonderful people that happened to be trans, non binary, gender fluid, etc. I've also met some who were militant and just wanted to be angry at someone. It's case by case in my view, and that's my personal belief. If you're not hurting anyone and not trying to pressure others, it's your life and your body. I may never understand it, and I will never pretend to - my judgment just comes down to being a good person, and luckily for me, most were.

We don't have to agree on our perspectives for that, as long as we all come together in the scientifically proven knowledge that Patrick is fat.

Where did I say free thought was bad? Where did I shame any of you for your beliefs? And never once did I say to "coddle" anyone, @covidcumia - life is up and down, good and bad, I never received special treatment of any kind (and nowadays I hate when I do, feels embarrassing) and I don't expect it. But for me, I just don't go out of my way to make others lives worse - Anthony and Patrick notwithstanding (and even then it's very indirect).

I am not here to berate anyone for their beliefs and I'm holding to that. Disagree, maybe, but I'm not going to attack you over it. What is there to gain? What changes on either side when we yell about it to one another? That's not my goal. I'm choosing to just have discourse.

I agree with this as well, but I don't think minors should be allowed to pump themselves full of hormones and mutilate their genitals. That's a loaded one, and I struggle with the words on that, but I don't disagree. To me, you're formulating in your childhood who you are - if you want a psychiatrist, I'm all for it, but there are too many young people reversing transitions right now, either because they rushed into it or, and I've even heard this in person, they felt pressured into it. They need to find better help to make sure something like that is what they truly want, not be pushed into it.

I will state one thing so there's no confusion: I do NOT defend someone like Keffals. They strike me as militant, and even if they're being a smart ass with a comment like that, if others can be hazed verbally for a comment, then so should they.
