Let me clear a few things up for your DELUDED minds. I served my full TERM and jumped out of MANY planes. I was taught RESPECT and HARD WORK. Lessons I carry with me to this day. Might be why I continue to be successful and you fight with Ma over the last can of “Mountains Dew”!!!
I wear my gear because it lets other VETS know they can come and talk to me. I’ve had many drinks with MANY different branches. You learn from them. And they learn from YOU. We all stick together and we all WIN. I even make a few extra bucks doing it.

It's not just gay, it's not even true. He was ordered to jump from an airplane, he wasn't doing it because he wanted to. It wasn't even for some noble cause, it was just retarded army training, training that amounted to and prepared him for nothing.
The guitar player in my band served in the Gulf War and was exposed to nerve agents and has health problems even now because of it. He had killed a few enemy combatants and told me a few stories about that kind of shit a few times but he purposely wears his Gulf War Veteran hat at our shows because he's aware of that kind of status and how it can play favorably for our band as a whole. Some could maybe view that as opportunistic, but I tend not to think so because of how Joseph Colleen Cumia wears all of his military garb as a ploy, with his stupid ass only serving for 9 months.

In Greece there's still a draft and if you don't volunteer(go in early) you don't get to pick the branch and what you do. So you might become a submariner if you like it or not.
My eldest cousin was drafted into their version of airborne. He displayed his certificate on the wall but never anything else and he hated it, he said there was nothing more terrifying for him to jump out a plane. He never spoke of his service fondly. He was a sheep herder and owned a little restaurant in the village, this guy was tough too, he would slaughter and dress his own sheep and serve that meat that night. Incidentally, his brother was drafted as an MP and spent so much time in military jail he did like 8 years of service hahaha
