The recipient countries were getting ripped off, I could care less about Asia though, or I'd have fleshed out/investigated this grift more. Your participation in it confirmed views I developed about it all those years ago.

My dad was taught calculus by a Soviet professor from Ukraine. That was real teaching in a foreign realm..
