Without an archive of that tweet and just the screenshot it's hard to 100% prove Patrick actually ever made the claim. So I kind of see where Boomia was coming from in trying to get him to double down on it since there was no fucking bomb for obvious reasons. But even a tacit admission that there may have been one and the 'secret forums' was involved just feels retarded. The same way Nigger was a feeling. It's not how I would have went about it, but I think Boomia had the right idea in trying to get Patrick to commit to his lie that there was a bomb threat at Penguicon 2022. A bomb threat is a big deal so if we could catch Fat Boy in a lie it would be a massive blow to his credibility. He really annoyed the shit out me the other day when he said "Everyone believes me. I never lie." It's the exact kind of thing a fucking liar would say when they know they've been caught, right on par with a squeaky voiced "Why would I lie?" when someone's lying right to your face.

If Patrick denies making the claim, it's still a flawless victory for us. Also, he has no idea if some obscure Twitter archive managed to capture it (or if one of us has a script that is secretly archiving all of his tweets), and he might eat shit down the road if he tries to go through that path.
