Maybe I'm too much of a homer (and homo) for Dave, but if they're looking to cut people loose, Dave should've been the last one to go. Even with lower numbers, Dave's show and audience was way different than any other show on CP media and therefore drew in a whole different group of subscribers.

Everyone else is some variation of right wing stuff, but Dave was an off the wall, acid trip weirdness. If your network is subscription based, then a diverse fanbase makes far, far more sense than whether Fred From Brooklyn clones watch 4 hours a day or 6 hours per day.

This is the type of business insight that Compound Media is just not ready for.
