I didn't watch shows, but I watched The Nutty Professor like 10000 times. It's still funny. Even the sequel which everyone hates.
My dad always used to do the "Herka-lees! Herka-lees! My little Hercules!" thing basically every time he saw me lift anything.

I remember seeing the second one at the drive in with my parents. It was a double feature and the first movie was the live action Rocky and Bullwinkle. There was an older couple next to us and they left before The Klumps. My dad was like "Those two just came for Rocky and Bullwinkle. What faggots."

My brother and sister used to watch Sister Sister and Keenan and Kel, but it went over my head.

I liked nice TV shows like The Queen's Nose and Halfway Across the Galaxy and Turn Left.

Family Matters, but my God is that show as shitty and unwatchable as Full House if you watch it as a grown up. I know Family matters sucks because you never hear black people talking about it fondly like they do with other black shows.
I didn't like the Steve Harvey show because even as a kid I noticed it was ripping off Mr. Cooper.

Steve Harvey has had an insanely lucrative career considering he is not funny or original in anyway. Truly paved the way for Kevin Hart.

I was more into Leeta myself.

Fun fact: Avery Brooks caught her when he was watching some infomercial and made the producers hire her. I guess he's the one black man who isn't an ass guy.

You know that old episode of South Park where if someone sings the start of Come Sail Away, Cartman compulsively has to sing the rest of it? My one ex was like that with the Smart Guy theme song. It was hilarious.

The 90s were the last hurrah for great theme songs.

I remember watching Roc all the time.
The actor who played Roc stabbed a guy and killed him before he was famous.

Everybody hates Chris

That show was so disappointing. Such a funny title for a show and I liked Chris Rock at the time because I didn't know Louis CK wrote all his good shit.

In Living Color, Arsenio, Martin, Jeffersons, 227
Remember when In Living Color niggerfied their opening song? The first season was rap that white people like, then it changed to like we're black yo, go fuck yourselves

227 frequently had ridiculous endings to their episodes. There was one where the building was going to be sold and they got the last person to sign and then once it was signed the evil new owner was like, "hahahaha, you fell into my trap," except the nigger woman signed her name as Mickey Mouse so it wasn't a legally binding contract.

Another one involved Family Fued where they got to the end and had to get 300 points and only got 299 so they lost. Dumb niggers.

I laughed at the racial humor of The Jeffersons when I was a kid but that Jew writer was behind all of those shows (like Maude and Archie Bunker) so it's ruined for me.

I liked A Different World more than the Cosby Show, but nobody seems to remember it or talk about it. It was Lisa Bonet's spin-off show, then she left after the first season. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Different_World

Nobody remembers there was a dude on the Cosby Show and his name was Cockroach. Like nigga what?

And there was NO pot smoking ever shown on A Different World. So fake.

227 all day my nigga

There's no place like home. With your family around you're never alone

Hanging with Mr Cooper, family matters, my brother and me, Sanford and son, Bernie Mac

Bernie Mac was funny for the first season. "Listen here America"...but then I watched the standup bit that inspired it and I was like how the fuck did they green light it? You can't understand this shit if you're White

Sanford and Son had a great theme song.

As did What's happening.

What's Happening was my jam.

Dyno-mite!

Hanging with Mr. Cooper and Martin were big ones as a 90s kid for me
Whites weren't supposed to watch Martin.

Surprised no one chimed in with Fat Albert or Amen!

Amen was supposed to show us that religious blacks were harmless. Reverend Deacon or whatever his name.

My parents let me watch way too much TV as a kid and I basically only remember the nigger shows.

This thread makes me realize I forgot a bunch and I watched a ton of black shows up until my teens. It's a shame I love saying nigger. Maybe they aren't so bad.
Just imagine the propaganda to make blacks look cool and hip and all they wanna do is rap and dance! And not all about knocking out old lady and has her head bouncing off the side walk like a basketball because it's fun
