Bit idea: Post the self-vandalism video on the East Milwaukee Facebook group

These surveillance/doorbell camera posts get a lot of engagement on all of these neighborhood groups, and Pat really hates it when that video is shared. He was going nuts about it on Twitter, where most people don't even know what he really looks like or care.

Posting it there would be really embarrassing since it's obviously him and there are people who know him in real life who use that channel. He might actually end up changing his story and say that this was just video of him inspecting the damage.

You’re going places with that thinkin’ brain a yours, kid. If I hadn’t completely been banned from all of social media for being a rascal I’d be asking for the streamable.com of that. I also need to take a shit.

is the Nextdoor app popular in Milwaukee? could be another source of fun shenanigans

edit: after posting this I saw that people are linking to Nextdoor on the FB group, definitely worth keeping an eye on that app if anything ever goes down at the sty or to do some bits

I'm out of the loop, did he get caught vandalizing his own home?

He provided investigative journalist Josiah Munoz with a video of someone allegedly vandalising his motorcycle and house with a wipe-off marker pen. Unfortunately Josiah turned out to be a friend of ours, and it leaked here.

The video shows someone who looks and walks exactly like Pat, wearing Pat's clothes, emerging from the side of Pat's house where his front door is. This is odd, because that means they've had to walk up his front yard, down the side of his house and past his front door and back yard and into the alley behind his house; rather than just straight up the alley. The other alternative is they just stepped out of his front door like Pat would; but that seems unlikely. The person is not wearing a mask, despite the pandemic and how useful one would be as a disguise. They are carrying a penlight in their mouth, which is bad for stealth but handy for penmanship.

The person negotiates the steps behind the house with practiced ease like they'd done it before, and isn't startled by Pat's automatic security lights, almost as though he was expecting them or is confident that anyone in the house who sees him won't be alarmed by his presence. The video cuts out before anything untoward happens as Pat's patricked it up and used a trail cam with a thirty-second cutoff, rather than something useful. There's also some photos of Pat-style insults ("Virgin Pat" maybe? Not stuff we'd say here, more like stuff people called him in high school that's stuck with him) written in what appears to be a close match for Pat's handwriting on the side of his bike.

We're all just grateful they didn't just drive by his house and throw paint stripper onto his car and bike, but instead took the time and inconvenience to make it personal and easy to wipe off.

This might be the video, but it doesn't work for me:
