I am rich enough to buy a shure, I am not competent enough to describe the sound I actually want ( & yes, I know I can do most of it in processing).

I liked the idea (& sound) of a Neumann, I'm thinking of decent old mics I can get. I've got a few ok mics (not gonna open myself up to mockery by naming them), but looking for ideas.
