I don't think there are many bands who broke up right as they were on top, this was definitely one of them. The band is only known for their one hit, but there are half a dozen killer tracks on the album. The songwriter clearly had a chance at being something akin to a younger version of Prince, but he basically stopped performing and focused on writing instead. He wrote that "Murder on the Dancefloor" track that was so popular a year or two ago (due to being featured in a Netflix movie.) IIRC, he also wrote "Torn" for Natalie Imbruglia.
Nowadays he runs a stalking/defunct radio show forum out of some SEA shithole

Which is what some might say is a clear example of racial inequality. Tookie Williams is put to death even after seemingly repenting, while Manson got to live his life until illness without as much as an acknowledgement for his heinous influence and gross misconduct.

I have no idea how Manson avoided getting stomped out in prison. Shit makes no sense.
Oh no... poor Poopie Williams who arguably ushered in the rising crime and murder rates of his dookie skinned brethren! HE SOO SORRRY MAMA...oooo weeeeee. He DIDNT DO NUFFIN. THOSE WHITE DEVILS ARE LYIN ON HIM. THEY JUST KEEP DA BLACK MAN DOWN... OOO WEEEE

Indeed he should be memorialized for his great service to the rest of society for helping clean the filth.

Criminal sentencing got a lot harsher in the ten years between Manson and Tookie. RICO laws didn’t exist yet, for instance, which could have been applied to good old Charlie.

Inmates probably left him alone because they thought he had magic powers or some dumb shit.
Plus within those 10 years the supreme court ruled the death penalty unconstitutional which automatically made a death sentence a life sentence before reversing themselves later down the road.

1) it’s a legitimately great album overshadowed by the massive success of the single.

2) He basically said his heart is in producing and has spent the rest of his career doing that. I think it’s a shame because he was a capable front man.

The drummer died of a heroin overdose almost immediately.

My next one is perhaps a controversial take, but I stand by it… if you exclude all the live albums (which are great), Justice released one front to back all-time classic that completely changed the sound of EDM for 7 years and then everything since has been middling.
