Assuming OnA is your favorite radio show, what is your second?

Is the new shit any good? I haven't listened since Soder left. I imagine it's Big Jay talking about porn and America's Got Talent every week, with Bobby reminiscing his glory days and what his kid did the other day.

I have posted about this before but Bobby is completely awful. Bonfire used to be 90% riffs but Bobby has no idea how to do that so they've completely stopped trying to be funny that way. Instead it's just Bobby telling clearly made up stories about things that happened to him. You can literally hear him make up the stories as they go along. Then he brings up his stupid kid every fucking episode. And he has the worst fucking taste in everything. He was genuinely shocked to find that no one else on the show thought Jared Leto's Joker was the best version of the character. He brands himself as a tech guy but has no idea what he's talking about, there was an episode where he talked about why iPhones were much better than Android and he was factually wrong on every single count.

Bobby's wild lies are fucking insane. He shouldve learned after that subway story where he fatly dropped his phone on the tracks and he morphed it into a story about how a guy with a knife kicked his phone out of his hand and slashed his bag. Not a single person believed him and he brought it up constantly about how totally true it was, even bringing on a guest as a "witness" who didn't witness it lol. It was the guy who hopped onto the tracks to get his phone for him.

He also swears during the live reads and you can hear them get pissed off at him. Sometimes they just groan but sometimes Jay will let him finish and be like "I guess we're not getting paid for that one. You cursed during the read. Again."

His total inability to riff is the most egregious thing though. He considers himself an actor and has done goofy improv comedy shit and he will NEVER "yes and" anything. He does the opposite. He goes "What? Wait, wait, wait. WHAT?" and make people explain some throwaway thing they said on the way to something actually funny, but he doesn't let them get to the funny part because he's demanding an explanation for some three syllable word they used that he doesn't understand and acts like they're a fag for knowing.

He does still make me laugh the odd time but he's painfully stupid.

Oh, and another thing: Bobby's kid sounds like a stupid little shit who could use a smack upside the head.

I originally voted Stern but then I thought about it.

I listen to Stern more now but in the grand scheme of my life, probably Mike and The Mad Dog/Mikes solo show. My dad would listen to Mike and Dog every day in his car and then I spent so many hours listening to Mikes solo show when I worked in my car all day. Listening to mike makes me think of driving in the car with my dad as a little kid. There’s just a certain comfort hearing him bloviate brings me.

The DMAN can't fairly rank Ron & Ron, not enough tapes available to make an accurate assessment. However the energy of Diaz, Bennington and Fez sounded just like late stage O&A with Norton. Opie Diaz took the calls, steered the ship, surfer dude with the lingo. Ronnie B was funny off the cuff, a street rat with an afro ponytail. Fez would pipe in with his edgy aids jokes.

The DMAN is still holding out hope that some idiot in Tampa has a shoebox full of tapes from Ron & Ron... But no such luck 30 years after the show ended. Then again, things like this are not really meant to be unearthed until decades later. That's how history is made.

Alex was fantastic listening before he realized people were making meme edits of him. Then he started liking the attention, and began to emulate what he thought people wanted to see.

And now he's a complete Trumptard. No longer unpredictable, despite wacky insane trials where he owes trillions of dollars and exposes his entire life accidentally through the contents of his phone.

But back when he was building InfoWars as a network, the production values were great, he was hiring guys like David Knight who was the stand out player, amongst all the misfits and losers Alex would have as his background players, David brought a lot of legitimacy.
