Agoraphobia. Social anxiety has no logic to it. It's impossible to explain.
My best pal was taken down with agoraphobia for a while, massive nosebleeds before leaving the house. That's a tough nut to crack, the only way out is through trauma therapy, putting yourself in situations that make your skin crawl on purpose.

You don't know what you're talking about at all though. Which is why I asked for some kind of verification of your expertise, (knowing you wouldn't deliver).

My patio steps are fine.
Do I need to explain all this to you? (I will if you ask nicely, but it's barely repairable at this point

You should've kept those glasses, seems like you might need them

We heard you. Post your steps.
at this place I've got two concrete steps, & one looks a bit shitty tbf, but I didn't post a pic. On a side note, the house my mother lives-in has pristine exterior woodwork, since I'm not planning on selling that place.

But back to the actual pic we're talking about (don't delay or deflect):

Even if you can't afford (or have the skills) to remake it properly (I don't know how bad it is underneath), do some sanding, screwing, filling & painting... IMO it might be too far gone for that & you should've done it when it was dry in the summer - but you might just buy yourself an extra year before someone's foot goes through it.
TBH that's basically bodge-it advice since you don't see the severity of needed works, & you'd be very vulnerable with a broken ankle.

I'll post the external woodwork from the house my mum lives in, since it's a good job & even though some filler had to be used (see if you can spot), I did a good job so I'm proud of it... wont be today tho'
Btw my mum's house has 2 steps...stamped concrete. Might post that (her lawn is immaculate but because of her arthritic hand, gardening is a challenge, so I pay for her landscaping)...wanna see? (will post it when Im there for lunch).

up to you, it's not a challenge... I'd point-out needed work if anyone posted a pic of those steps

I guess some people just can't see when the cracks are showing
(that was literal & metaphorical) :ROFLMAO:
