She lost all my sympathy with the payment plan abandonment. That was their only chance to grow the fuck up and get at least somewhat back on track but she chose to stand by her man-child as he whined like a bitch about his just desserts during two-minute bullshit news interviews instead.

Good point. He is without a doubt abusing her; if he'll spit venom and try to ruin an old lady on Twitter for days over simple questions, what's stopping him from taking that same rage out on his wife?

Nikki is just in an unfortunate situation because she's, above all else, a hopeless dolt, while Pat deserves his implosion a thousand times more. Tired, deteriorating, and almost completely gray before the age of fifty, he is a real-time example of the effects of malignant narcissism. His already bleak present doesn't have anywhere to go and it's too late to turn back. He has no one to blame but himself.

We heard him on that police recording, he prob yells at her like that pretty often and she’s actually afraid he will do something to her if she even suggests they split up. She looks like that because her home is a prison and she’s not getting out anytime soon unless piggy has a stroke and dies.

She went along with the debt plan but I’m guessing her told her they are NOT paying their abuser and this whole thing will be resolved as long as he can keep finding news outlets to cry to in hopes the FBI will step in and magically wipe the debt away which is why we know he was swatting himself. Niki is well aware of all his bullshit but she’s been beaten into the ground mentally by Pat. She doesn’t stand up to him and he shits on her as it is, she’s a possession to him and she does what he says.

The various news articles all state “they” (even though it’s piggy’s fault) owe a large amount of money and face bankruptcy which would be Niki’s SECOND BK before she’s 45. She has nowhere to go because fatso will find her. In pigs mind they “don’t owe a penny” because Pat doesn’t believe he should owe his “abuser” and has told Niki they will NEVER pay no matter what those pesky court docs say.

I went to high school with alot of rich kids who had parents that were really fucking old. They all seemed to just through a few hundred bucks at their kids and not really pay alot of attention to them. I think this may be the case with Thick Nick.
