I'm dot loying. OK they're not the same obviously but there's not enough reason to spend that money on one right now. What games are available for them that you can only play on ps5? Last of Us remake and Demon's Souls remake? Fuck paying $600 just for that.

It's only $500 I thought? Unless you're some gay canadian or something. I would hold off for now because they are making a new sku which will be a digital version that you can buy the add on disc drive if you want. To me it's worth the $500 because while it doesn't have a ton of PS5 ONLY games, it makes the PS4 games even better. It's not for everyone though. I also have a Series X and a PC and I would not buy a Series X unless you only play Halo and FPS games. PC gaming is cool but you still feel like a second class citizen these days. Most PC ports end up being made by some shitty ass studio and made like ass with stuttering and everything else. PC gaming is good for one thing IMO and that's MMO's.

A game as big as GTA online is already being phased out on PS4. Next gen has features that aren't on the older gen. It'll trickle to other games.

Also at this point you have a better chance of finding a PS5 at Best Buy than you'd find a PS4 Pro, and even if a PS4 pro was on the shelf it's less than a $200 difference, and one won't be obsolete in 3 years.

I might be misremembering but I thought you said you had one but barely ever played it?

I wouldn’t have sold my Xbox One if I had known that I could play the new Halo on it. I didn’t play it for over a year but I do love Halo even though 5 was embarrassing.

This generation of console games and even the last generation were terrible. The 360/PS2/PS3 have basically 100x as many top quality games as the current and last generation. And I have never once seen a PS5 or new Xbox in an actual store nor available online. There is no supply for them......yet also no demand. Yet during the 360/PS3 era they were flying off of shelves despite huge demand.

PS4 really did kind of suck in hindsight. Wasn't nearly as inventive as the PS3 was and has nowhere near the amount of memorable exclusive titles.

I'd kept a ps since the original blocky one. I tapped out when they went to a subscription model which was a hard line I wasn't crossing. I only have a badly outdated laptop now but all I play is Civ 5 chess.com and Slay the Spire anyways...

PS2 has an unbelievable ammount of games. Just off the top of my head, SMT: Nocturne, Silent Hill 2 + 3, Metal Gear Solid 2 + 3, God Hand, Dragon Quest VIII, Persona 3, Shadow of the Colossus, all the Tekkens. The list goes on and on. Fawk do I miss that.
