The retard who "wrote" his book with him did next to zero editing on his transcribing as well, and it's full of Anthony's awkward prose. "Now I know a thing or two about what they call podcasting, I'm not claiming to be an expert in any way shape or form, but I've been doing it since back in what I like to call the day."
lol that's perfect. just need to throw in a couple "On a daily basis"

I find it funny that the cover of his second book is a picture of him as a child. Hmmm, there's another aging, once-famous radio host who took a hard-turn away from comedy and into right wing politics and is always angry that released a second book and put a young picture of himself on the cover. Who was it? Oh, right:

So not only did Anthony put zero effort into this book, he even cribbed the design of the book from Adam Carolla.
He actually did a low-effort parody of the Prince Harry Book

That doesn't explain using the kid's photo though

And this is such an unhelpful and unflattering allusion. Hazzer’s book sold dreadfully—they’ve been using copies as table stabilising props, till/computer stands and coffee mats in my local Waterstones—and he’s got no supporters left on either side of the pond. Why should Ant want to draw attention to such a parallel?

So here’s what happened. For his first book, he basically sat back and drunkenly rambled about his life and career to his two co-authors who were forced to interpret his babbling into something coherent, with the help of Wikipedia. And he got paid a decent sum for his book advance. The book flopped, no one bought it, the end, right? Well, a year ago, Anth, in desperate need of money, decides “Hey, I got paid pretty good for one book, why not another?” He thought it would be another babble session and then he’d gather another hundred grand. But no one cares. I’d be surprised if he netted more than 30 grand from Spare Me. I’ve seen Pats books more than I’ve seen his at stores. All these books are just him desperately trying to pocket cash to show he’s not broke.

For a book to make the author $30,000 you'd need close to 100K sales figures easily. Only the top 1% of books make more than $1,000 for their author. Most books are published purely for fun or artistic reasons. Most authors are getting ten percent or less from sales and these are from books with minuscule print runs. Never to make money for the author or as a career. I would be shocked if Anthony even got close to $30K between both books combined advances and royalties. $30K for a small paperback with no promotion at all makes no sense for a publisher. It was more likely that Anthony and his ghost writer split something like $2,500 between them at best. And that is being generous.

Book deals and sales figures are almost always under NDA. Even mega authors like Stephen King and JK Rowling do not have official sale totals released. But Stephen King's best selling book, The Shining, is still likely under 1 million copies in circulation. Some argue that The Stand sold 4.5 million copies but its first print run was 70K which is usually when books sell the most copies so that number is way inflated.

The Hunt for Red October's first print run was a mere 5,000 copies. After the movie and the time that Ronald Reagan as President gave speech telling people to purchase the book it sold another 2 million copies. So it usually takes a major hollywood movie and a sitting U.S. President to get your book sales beyond just a few thousand. You think that Anthony's books sold more than 10K copies? 1K even?

It's literally him flailing to make his next house or car payment at this point. He's going to wind up without electricity and running water like his ex-wife. Living on the streets and requiring the next generation of TikTok shock humorists to throw a Homeless Shopping Spree in his small rural town that his ghoulish countenance now haunts.

Lovely stuff. How the turn tables. Hope Jen's having a good laugh at his expense, wherever she is.

Pure speculation on my part, but all these guys want to have sex with the child versions of themselves.

The audacity of these faggots to write books. Jim Norton actually wrote three of them. What else could we possibly learn about that we haven't heard on da show? I bet a few of the brothermen here bought this drek

These stupid books always have the most heinous, embarrassing covers. No one, not even someone gay enough to buy it, would want anyone seeing that thing in their house. You'd have to rip the dust jacket off immediately to make it somewhat discreet.
