When you are a 72-year-old man like Keaton, starring roles are hard to come by. And this isn't necessarily the type of shit that DeNiro would take just for a payday, it's at least a name brand franchise.
But they are many years too late in doing this. After The Flash, Keaton - the only worthwhile part of that piece of shit movie - should have thought twice about doing this. And Tim Burton no longer has the cachet that he used to in Hollywood, so of course he'll go back to the well.
I won't see it in the cinema, but I'll give it a watch one day. And if I'm wrong about it, I'll own up. Anything's better than his Alice in wonderland movies.
