He never denies being served or that there's a hearing. He definitely got served. He would have denied it if he didn't.

He can't discharge this debt with bankruptcy.

1. Because there's a lien on the property that makes is 10x more difficult under normal circumstances
2. there is plenty of evidence of fraudulent spending before the bankruptcy

He'd need to explain why 6 vacations were taken after the judgment debt was ruled on.

Sorry you mooled out on an old debt but now banks just waive medical debt issues in most cases.

On a related note, when my wife had our second child we started getting multiple bills for like $600-$1,200, and a $6,000 bill. We have great insurance. I told them for 6+ months they fucked up the insurance payments. Finally the hospital group was like "We're going to send this to collections" and I said "Go ahead, I'll drag the insurance company into it again and you two will have to figure out what you fucked up". They got on another call with each other and figured out the issue after escalating it to managers and, whoopsies, I owed like $400 total out of over $10,000+. Some dumb fuck would have just started a payment plan on $10,000+ fraudulent medical debt.

Yea i needed to buy a house though. If you have an outstanding lien, it automatically disqualifies you from a home loan. I settled for like 1/20th of the debt or some shit. At one point for court fines the state was taking something like 35% of my paycheck right off the bat since I wouldnt reply to any letters/notices. If you just show SOME progress in paying the debt, they go much easier on you. (Once i started sending $20 a month they left me alone). Unfortunately for Tubbs he wont have that luxury both because the debt is settled and hes not going to cooperate.

Patrick, the smartest thing you can do right now is ignore the Debtor's examination. It's your right as an American citizen to say nobody orders you to do anything and victims do not have to pay their abusers.

Even showing up would put a shred of legitimacy to this farce, stay home and if anyone shows up asking where you were, explain that you've been SWATTed 22 times. That's how you erase the debt without paying a penny to your abuser.

Because i was a broke drug addict and didn’t know they would just settle for a minimum payment plan. Once they started taking 35% i just got an under the table job and THEN replied lol. The choice is pretty easy when youre shooting dope. Pay the court fines…orrrr buy more dope.
