And then one day you find ten years have got behind you. No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun.

turned 21 at the end of 2014 & it still holds the title of worst year of my life for reasons i can’t really put a finger on. i actually got desperate enough to see a college-provided counselor & very briefly tried antidepressants. looking back i think it was just a shell-shocked reaction to hangxiety. only a year or so later i advanced into the secretive binge drinking that became my 20s. my life hasn’t changed materially since then except for booze losing its luster. now i’m just less bothered & resigned to dying sooner

I remember watching this little documentary on DSOTM and this quote from Roger kind of fucked with me.

I never did much about it, but I was conscious of the notion.

2014 I was still renting a little house with the family. Now, it's just me and a house with a mortgage. It's cool, but kind of not.

Grew up a lot. Watched a lot of people close to me die, had a job I loved but hated the management, got really depressed and sick all the time, hospitalized frequently with gut issues, got married and finally decided enough was enough and quit the shitty job.

Ended up getting rid of all the other health issues immediately. Smoked a lot of weed, quit smoking weed with the birth of my youngest son, and now am happier than ever.

But I could be living in a box and still be doing better morally than the Count, so there's always that.

Remember, brothermen.
No matter how bad you have it, you're still better off than Danny Ross.
You could be dying of both AIDs, ebola and have your skull bashed in by Christopher Carver in a prison shower and still be better off than a utterly intolerable hand wrangling Jew meme lookalike kike such as BenDovid.

That fucking oven dodgin,' cess pool hidin' in heeb.
