This one really stood out to me and pretty clear nobody at NBC news even tries to verify anything

Pat says we cut off their heat (we didn’t do that, that’s another investigation) but the temp being in the 50s was cold enough to see their visible breath? I’m no scientist but let’s find out what temp you can see your breath -

Also temps in the 50s put their animals in danger? Pretty sure most homes in the winter that aren’t running the heat are in the 50s and nobody complains. Pretty sure cats have no issue with 50 degree temps and with a dragon I know they are cold blooded but most people keep them warm with a heat lamp which runs on electric power, not your heating system.

Piggy really ramped up the victim story BS for this joke of a report. Just imagine the stuff they DIDNT put in

What's strange to me is that Patrick always highlights the claims that have been proved false.

If he stuck with "They made fun of me on Twitter." "They left negative reviews of my book on Goodreads" or "I had to stay away from my favourite bar due to fear of physical violence" then that would all be true.

Yeah I usually keep my place in the high 50s low 60s in the winter and it’s fine, def not “life threatening” temperatures. If his place was that cold without the heat on it sounds like it’s more an issue of old windows that need to be replaced, plus second floor would be warmer (heat rises) but he’s trying to make it sound like ice was forming and his cats were dying from (checks notes) average winter temperatures in Wisconsin.

He’s complaining about being cold in the winter in Wisconsin and it being in “the 50s” was enough to see his breath (Mr science genius should know it’s gotta be closer to 32 for that) and it was life or death for his pets (gotta throw them in there for sympathy) Just typing that they saw their breath at temps in the 50s and it was life threatening for their pets should have made someone with room temperature IQ stop and think “that doesn’t sound right” but that’s the state of journalism in 2023.

Yes, I made sure to research bearded dragon since they mentioned it in the article and you use a lamp on it to keep it between 80-90 degrees. Your gas heat has nothing to do with your electric. Crazy how a simple google search shows a major news outlet like NBC published a story with obvious lies.
