Someone who is constantly concerned of evils in the world, fighting off temptations, or fearful of demons, is not basking in the grace of god. If you were you would know your soul is strong enough to not be corrupted and be content. You have god on your side after all. Yet you are not content.

I am more at “gods grace” than you are despite not believing in your specific “god”. This is because I know our creator has made good more abundant and more powerful than evil. The only “evil” that exists in our physical world is a small percentage of people, and as we know people make up only a fraction of the living world. A tree, a bird, the water, are all blessed in gods grace. They are not evil. I focus on the material world more than I do other people or this vague notion of demonic spiritual temptation. Through that I am at peace. What peace has your spirituality brought you? Can you truly say you are in gods grace simply because you believe in and trust him? Do you trust him fully if you are overly concerned with evils ability to tempt you?

Are you referring to increased risk of certain cancers? If so, I suppose you could make an argument that someone with a family history of cervical cancer should not use them long term. But oral birth control is long established as the safest and best 1st line treatment for heavy, painful menstruation and psychiatric conditions related to menstruation.

I wholeheartedly agree with your take on ssri’s however. There is a lot of research coming out and being revisited in the psychiatric community with regards to those drugs.
