We switched over to a new alarm system last week at work. Ever since we did 2 to 4 times a day it sends out a false fire alarm out to the alarm company who automatically calls the fire department. Despite the fact that both the alarm company and fire department both know these are false alarms the fire department still shows up every time. We tried to have the alarm company call us before dispatching the fire department or even let us shut it off during the day but both the company and department rejected that due to safety concerns and the fact there's no system which would allow them to treat a 911 call as anything other than an emergency

It always surprises me when I remember that "brag" of his. After a certain age (early 20s) only complete losers get in bar fights. Like got nothing to lose, extensive criminal record type losers. The fact that he thinks it would be something to be proud of (he's never been in a real fight - that's obvious from his appearance and behaviour) shows just how far detached he is from real life.

Plus anyone over 21-22 causing problems at bar like starting fights is someone NOBODY wants to hang out with. It’s not cool or impressive to go somewhere only to be kicked out because your dumb friend can’t handle their alcohol. But bragging about it your late 30s / early 40s? The department outlined why they can’t do this in their reasoning to dismiss the lawsuit. Something something, there are specific laws stating its not the job of the 911 operator to determine how serious a crime is or if it warrants a response. They must ALWAYS pass it along to the police, who then have a duty to report to things like…checks notes…domestic abuse, shooting threats, and hostage situations. So it has almost nothing to do with the cost or impossibility / logistics of implementing this system but that they literally can’t.
Regarding your second point, the police don’t know Pat and this would be a really good way to game the system if you were going to actually do something violent. Just have someone make fake calls, tell the police to never respond to another call, then you ACTUALLY kill your wife and the police look stupid as fuck when they say “Well we didn’t show up because we were told by the homeowner before that any calls would be fake and he’s not a violent guy”.

It’s true, he 100% acts like some asshole that should have had his ass kicked years ago to drop his fake tough guy nonsense. I think he’s only gotten away with it is because he’s such a weak timid bitch of a man that is too afraid to make eye contact with anyone that could actually fuck him up. There’s video of him trying to act tough with some dude when he was wearing the “I’m here to help shirt” at whatever pedocon he was at. The only reason he was acting that tough was because it was on camera and was hoping to use any kind of altercation as evidence that they are violent Nazis.
