Yeah Final Destination 5 is as good as the first one. The bridge scene at the beginning is hilariously brutal and my daughter is never allowed to take up gymnastics thanks to that movie.

That was the most unrealistic death though lol.Yeah Final Destination 5 is as good as the first one. The bridge scene at the beginning is hilariously brutal and my daughter is never allowed to take up gymnastics thanks to that movie.
Pretty memorable though. Got to be in the top 5 FD deaths along with the blonde getting creamed by the bus, the black guy getting his head obliterated by the weights machine (2?), the bald guy from Anchorman eating a mixer full of scalding asphalt in 5 and probably the whole plane sequence in 1.That was the most unrealistic death though lol.
Ravenous is great and almost no one has seen it. Definitely recommend it too.Got some catch up to do:
Before I start, there was no scene in The Exorcist where she scurried down the stairs upside down with her head on backwards. Yet I swear I saw that in the 2002 theatrical rerelease.
10/08: The Exorcist III: fell asleep halfway through. Needs to be rewatched later.
10/09: Final Destination 2: my kid is all fawking in on this series
10/10: Green Room: not really a horror movie, action/suspense, I love this film, but it’s under horror on Max. I thought my girlfriend would like it but instead we wound up exploring new territory in our sex life. Apologies to Gassers.
I really like Jeremy Saulnier, I watched his first film Murder Party when it came out and followed him from there. Blue Ruin is fantastic. I have NO CLUE what went wrong with that Alaska movie he did though, I thought it sucked. Also wasn’t he supposed to do TD season 4 or some shit?
10/11: Trick R Treat: needs no comment.
10/12: The Meg: not really horror, my son picked it. Saw in theaters too. Boring for me
10/13: Johnny Depp Sleepy Hollow: couldn’t remember if this was any good. Fell asleep almost immediately. No opinion.
10/14: Ravenous: IMO this movie is very underrated. I saw it on release too. The soundtrack puts in some work

10/15: The Lost Boys: my kid likes the Frog Brothers
10/16: Near Dark: not on any streaming service. I torrented like a decade ago. Paxton is good. I love the concept also explored in Interview w/ a Vampire of how bad it fucking SUCKS to get turned as a prepubescent. I would absolutely find the vampire that made me and kill them were this to happen to me.
10/17: BeetleJuice: kid pic, did office work while he watched it in the background. Thought of Pat several times.
10/18: Double Header - Poltergeist / The Shining. No comment.
10/19: Cabin in the Woods: Time has soured me. I remember enjoying this and laughing. Now I just felt Whedon’s faggot hands all over it.
10/20: Elmstreet 3: Dream Warriors: Loved this concept as a kid - you can fight back against Freddy! But was never able to see this movie until I was like 30. Man, women were so fucking hot in the 80s.

That Anton Yelcin guy in it died a pointless and gruesome death irl. The scene where the dog tears one of them apart is broootalGreen Room is really good. Check out his earlier film, Blue Ruin.
Have you watched The Hitcher (1986)?
Fawk you should have rented it out to the brothamen and just stream O&A YouTube videos. One of the coolest things I've ever done was rent out an entire movie theater to watch The Shining on da big screen. I'm a Kubrick FAG and it makes such a difference to watch it on a huge screen. Theaters were desperate for money during Covid and I got the whole room to myself for $100
I’ve seen every movie Saulnier has done, funsterGreen Room is really good. Check out his earlier film, Blue Ruin.

Howd you get them to play the shining? One of the coolest things I've ever done was rent out an entire movie theater to watch The Shining on da big screen. They let you rent the room for $100 and you could play any non-porn movie you brought (had to bring the blu ray player too). You could bring consoles too.Howd you get them to play the shining?
It's not as bad but it sucks as well. The CGI hyenas are hilariously awfulAgainst better judgement I watched Exorcist: The Beginning. Perfect example of how a studios have no idea what the fuck they're doing half of the time. Didn't realize that Dominion was the original version of this film and the studio hated it so much they just hired another director and reshot the entire thing with the same cast. It reminds me of so many bad horror movies of the 2000's. Lame jump scares, over reliance on gore, and horrible CGI/green screen. They also had no idea what made the original Exorcist work. I'm going to watch Dominion later today, but there is no way it could be worse than this.

You have any recommendations? What have you done to solange? And Who could torture a duckling? Are some pretty good deep cutsIm mostly talking about the Italian directors like Bava, Fulci, Argento, Martino but I'm pretty sure I've seen ASA described as a giallo
