Lots of working artists use projectors or other tools to industrialize their workflow. It's a smart thing to do and if Maggie were smart she might even fess up to it and show the world her processes and maybe she would even look a little bit enterprising, but no, she would rather try and trick a handful of polite strangers into thinking she's more special and talented than she is.
If you want to sell 8-bit paintings you've traced over stolen photographs then go ahead, but don't try and pretend you aren't a mediocre journeyman at best.

That's what pisses me off most about people like her. She clearly uses technology to do her work, and there's nothing wrong with that, but she so desperately wants to maintain the illusion that artists are special, divinely gifted souls that she is going around running her fat mouth in artist communities about the evils of AI because she's too stupid and lazy to embrace it.
