It was always an awful series. Did anyone else here get letdown by Peter Molyneux for lying his ass off about this game? I was too young to know of his track record at the time. I expected so much from that game. It had me captivated before it came out. It was generic action rpg shit in the final product. I was so letdown. I bet Shane was, too. Though he'd never admit it. The first game came out when I was in high school and I had a loser-y, pudgy history teacher rave about it. He was in his late 40s, married, no kids and only talked about "complex" video games and obscure anime.

I believe you are right because he loved another Molyneux game called Black & White about creating your own god or some such shit. He talked about playing that game a lot and then when Fable came out he would say pretentious shit like "it's from the creator of Black & White, an unbelievably poignant, important game."
