have you watched inception recently? it does not hold up. the only thing holding it together is the solid acting and well crafted set pieces. the rest of the movie is loaded with insanely on the nose exposition and clunky dialogue (which is admittedly a problem in all of his movies)

Those are all great and his best movies. Most of what he's made in the last 15 years is what's made him such a huge name though and a lot of it is overrated as shit. His newer stuff can be enjoyable to an extent but his fanbase these days just reminds of comic book movie fans i.e. they slurp up everything he does and declare it a masterpiece before they've even seen it.
