Every once in a while I consider buying one to play the newer Pokémon games then I have to ask myself, “how old are you?” I know that I wouldn’t play long enough to make it worth the money.

My cousin has that and it looks neat but I grew up with PS so I have no nostalgia for the Zelda games.

I have one for the Pokemans and Zelda. Zelda games are great, one Pokemon game is good (Legends) and the other I have is dogshit (Sword). Price of the console was worth it for Zelda alone. Have Metroid too, but didn't love it.

Pokémon still doesn’t do that bullshit where it’s the same game but with different legendary Pokémon? Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald was such a blatant cash grab.

The Zelda games were good, new Mario was better than average for a Mario game, Smash Brothers was fun for a while. Lots of shit on their store too if you're into that sort of thing and don't feel like getting it on PC or pirating. I got FF7 on sale a few weeks ago for a trip I was taking and it had some emulation hacks that were neat like 3x speed.
Anyway if you want to play the pokeyman games then be a man and play the fucking things, who cares. I haven't played them because they didn't look great and the series hasn't been good since Gen 2 anyway. The protag from the 90s was cooler because he looked like a cool kid. The kid in the newest one looks like a faggot in his parachute short pants. I'm not looking at that for hours.

Legends is decent because it's mostly just "Go in the woods and find some monsters". For the most part you're just allowed to do whatever you want.

I like the Wii U more for it's easy hackableness. In about 10 minutes you can have every single game from before it on there. Graphics are pretty much the same, and it's got a better main controller.
