That ruled. I've oddly never heard of this guy. All in wit da April Wine though.

April Wine is one of my favorite bands. I'd listened to this once before years ago but it was so different I kind of just wrote it off, but I've been going back and listening to originals of great songs and tried this again and am loving it. Plus I'm recording my own version more subdued and remembered this one was more acoustic. The dude has some other good shit too. Just been reading about him the last few days and checking out more of his stuff, some of it's pretty good.

WWAWD AW touring without Myles Goodwyn? They're coming here and I'm trying to decide whether to even bother going. Usually I'd try to catch them as much as possible but MG is AW to me.

I'd probably skip that, honestly. It's not really April Wine without him. They've gotta be old as fuck. I saw April Wine on the drummer's 69th birthday and that was years ago.

First time I saw them was 2002 and I was a freshman or sophmore I'm pretty sure and I think it was one of the original drummers last tours. That guy still has my favorite drum solo, with the one handed drum roll or whatever you call it. It was also the first tour with Jim Clench back in the band since like 75 or something, it was awesome. Met them all afterwards, they were super cool.
Brian Greenway is still in the band, but he's not an original member, although he's from their most famous lineup/hits period. Another band with no original members in it. I just love that music so much I'm still considering going even though it'll probably be lame, other than the 2 songs Brian sings.
