It's honestly my favorite alcoholic beverage. I don't know what that says about me, but everytime I order one when out with people, I'll get the "hmmm I wouldn't have expected that choice" look.

Had 3 tall ones at some work function last night and ended up getting another cunt I work with to try one out for the first time and she said she actually enjoyed it but was always weary of trying it out.

Fans? Or do you think it's icky?

BTW I also rarely drink, usually 5 or 6 times a year, but when I do it's usually Guinness or Heineken if it's available, but Guinness is always my number 1.

I hate Guinness and Heineken. My black uncle hardly drinks but whenever I hang out with him he always wants to drink Guinness with me because that's apparently the only beer they drink in Barbados.

My opinion on alcohol means fuck all though. I genuinely like Olde English.

That's probably because the blacks and the Irish were both in the same state of slavery/indentured servitude together there back in the day. The Barbados accent is derived from the Irish one. Same with Jamaicans. Lots of redbones down there.

I like a Guiness but they fill me right up. After three I'm done drinking. Give me rum and coke and I'll get six or seven deep.

Guinness Extra Stout is by far my favorite beer. Has to be from a glass bottle though, metal cans fuck up the taste. Regular Guinness is good but I wish it had slightly less watery. Daniel Ben Dovid used to talk about pouring a shot of Jameson into a pint of Guinness and that shit is pretty good but it gets you fucked up too quickly. Sipping Jamey and chasing it with a drink of Extra Stout is heaven.

But really, Guinness kicks ass, my 3rd favorite behind cider and a solid hefeweizen. I'm an alcohol omnivore though, I'll drink anything but cheap spirits in a plastic jug and red wine. Regularly drink white wine, natty ice (still out looking for a job! No one's hiring!), bailey's and crown royal salted caramel and peach, usually with coffee.

Artie, you'll love Kilkenny if you like Guinness. It's nice and frothy like a Guinness, but it's more for warmer weather; a bit lighter.

@Monk is right too, because Guinness Extra Stout out of a bottle is fantastic on a cold afternoon. IMO it's something you'd drink in lieu of eating, it's so heavy.

As far as cocktails, I recommend The Dude's favourite drink, the White Russian. Two shots of vodka (or thereabouts), enough milk to make it opaque, Kahlua and ice. Again, it's a cold drink, but it goes with Winter.

I love the beer but was disappointed to hear that family is married into the Rothschilds and involved in Epstein shit (per Maria Farmer). Great beer though. It's a tough one man :image_9248::image_4764:

Heineken is great but I rarely drink it anymore because the bottles are so expensive and I just want to get drunk. I think I paid $10 for a 6 pack on New Years.

A local mick pub was giving out flyers that you could redeem for a free Guinness. Nobody else was willing to even try one so a friend and I got given dozens of free Guinness. I like a good irish pub that sits between being too depressing and being too kitsch.

As Torquis said, Kilkenny is a good alternative. I think that's what the irish are more likely to drink despite Guinness advertising saying the place hasn't changed since the great depression.
