Just spent all day in a rabbit hole learning about this 62 IQ legend and by far the funniest story of the day was when he got into cocaine he would argue with himself as a duck, got angry at the duck, insisted the duck be thrown off his tour bus, then got guilt struck and demanded they go back and pick up the duck. definitely a top contender for most psycho substance abuse stories of country music. the lawnmower one is probably the most famous of those. saw the George & Tammy miniseries recently & it wasn’t very good. almost all biopics are the same bullshit anyways
