My dad used to play Division Bell all the time when I was growing up. It was our driving CD. A Momentary Lapse of Reason also was a favorite.

Sure, the earlier stuff is more “classic”, but Floyd had some great shit in the 80s and 90s.

@McGowan6 I am expecting you to either know someone who personally worked on the album or to have had gone to primary school with David Gilmour. Either that, or you went to secondary school with Syd Barrett. Old boomer.

@UnPRePared you probably couldn’t even dream of music this great. Sorry, stupid.

Like most people, I like the "Meddle" through "The Wall" period. I couldn't get into the post-Waters Pink Floyd stuff, but I will say it was far more listenable than the solo nonsense Roger Waters churned out. Classic Beatles syndrome, where the whole was far greater than the sum of the parts.
Thats known as the Opie and Anthony syndrome now

You'd be pleasantly surprised if you gave my catalogue a chance.

Best I can do is that Mike Oldfield's daughter Molly was a few years ahead of me at school. Soz.

What Do You Want From Me is pfg. But mostly, Gilmour's solo shit is just so passive and Water's is equally dry in a different way. WWAW Richard Wright being the secret ingredient to their success?

Not 90s PF but pretty fawkin’ PFG. I also love the floating hog (:image_9251:) in the air.

Also the first comment both gave me douche chills (Waters’ madman persona? Yuck) and made me loff (David Gilmour looking like a gas station attendant)
