One fawkin dog came up to my door with his tailing wagging, looking straight at me, wanted to give him some food.

But then you give them food once, and they make it a habit to comeback and follow you everywhere.

Be nice and feed the dog. Make sure to do it away from your door and in a neutral area. That's what I did with stray cats growing up. I'm pretty sure I was responsible for over populating a small park with feral cats by leading them there for food.

People in my area do feed them sometimes, we have got quite a situation too, they bark at every car, and howl at night like wolves.

I always try to get close and see if the ha e a tag so I can call the owner. A couple of times that has happend an the owners were always thankful
