its almost like mainstream science reporting is no different from any other news media that creates misleading sensationalized titles to drive traffic?
does the headline "cancer treatments slowly increase survival rates by a few percentage points each decade" generate any traffic vs "has the cure for cancer finally been solved" and its some shit in a lab that is promising but in early stages so it will take 10-20 years of grants and research to see any practical implementation. But 99.9% of the time promising leads end up no where.
WHYCOME THE NON SCIENTIFIC NEWS SOURCE THAT GENERATES REVENUE BASED ON OUTRAGEOUS CLAIMS ISN'T ACCURATELY REPORTING ON REALISTIC BORING INCREMENTAL IMPROVEMENTS THAT TAKE A GENERATION TO MATERIALIZE??!!!!
