On the issue of their potential longevity, I'd argue that has a lot to do more with influence than substance, and I can name Kaarija and Little Big, both fantastic bands I love who cite them as an influence. They're not disposable.

I had every one of their tapes until way later than I care to admit. And I relistened to them on Spotify and went "oh, this isn't as good or bad as I thought"
