Everybody can agree that the final season of Californication with Tim Minchin was dog shit, but Season 1-3 was pretty good. Looking back it's a miracle a show like that got made.

It was obviously a man's show. Hank was probably the last man's man character on TV. He had all the best lines, fucked all the hottest women, committed only fun crimes. Was it actually good or am I douchebag for liking it.

I loved the first season at the time, but I never watched past it. It ends with Hank reuniting with his ex and daughter, so if the series ended there it actually would have been perfect.

Is it worth watching?

Definitely. It still holds up, and if you tap out before the last season it's a great show. Hank never really grows as a person, so there's no natural end to the show.
