Watched it last night and thought it was a good 70s action movie about how shitty NYC was in the early 70s. Cops calling black people N persons and N persons calling themselves N persons. Yaphet Kotto was good as the black “by the books” cop with Anthony Quinn as the “I do things my way” cop. Also had Antonio Fargas, Richard Ward who played the Dad in The Jerk, and Gilbert Lewis who was the original King of Cartoons from Pee-Wee’s Playhouse.

The title song by Bobby Womack was also used in the opening to Jackie Brown (1997)

Dude, I was going to watch this last night but changed my mind. Hadn't even heard of it until like two weeks ago.

WWAW being trapped in a simulation?
I had heard about it but watched Jackie Brown for the first time in years and I decided it was time because of the opening song. Plus I had a smoked a bit of weed I bought from Jesse Ventura. That’s right - the gov sells weed now from Jesse Ventura Farms so I was feeling good.
