Well, I'm just a faggot, but he wanted Danzig as it was 96% ethnic German, and they wanted to join the Reich, but the British gov't kept interfering with German/Polish diplomacy to allow this. France was invaded after Britain and France declared war on Germany and Britain started bombing German coastal cities. Russia could have worked if left up to the Generals and started a bit earlier perhaps?
