The tale of ife iyoku was probably in the top five best works of stilted pidgin shiterature I've ever read. The balls on this cunt to not immediately shoot down any comparisons to le guin.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say there isn't a single traditionally published short story written in the last decade that will have that kind of impact. In 50 years its going to be shit like viral reddit threads that cross over into cultural consciousness. It definitely won't be anything written by Donald "No, im down late" Ekpeki.
