Love 'em.

From my favorite recipe:

1: Put the eggs in a large pot with a lid. Pour cool water over the eggs until fully submerged. Put the pot over high heat and bring to a boil. Once the water is at a rolling boil, turn off the heat and cover the pot with the lid. Allow the eggs to sit in the hot water for the following times according to the desired doneness:

3 minutes for SOFT boiled
6 minutes for MEDIUM boiled
12 minutes for HARD boiled.

2: Prepare a bowl of ice water. Transfer the cooked eggs to the ice water to cool completely before peeling.

Might try that. I usually bring the water up to a boil and then put the eggs in, which sometimes results in the shell cracking if it's too cold.

I bring the water to the boil and put the eggs in for five minutes flat. It comes out with the yolk runny, but the whites are not watery.

I just eat them as a snack, and I use Tabasco.

I cook a dozen at a time in my instapot. 5 minutes at pressure. 5 minutes natural release. Perfect eggs every time.

Boiled eggs are the only food that makes me gag. My kid loves em so I have to hold my breath and make them. I refuse to watch her eat, though. That's a bridge too far.
