I was actually quite keen to do Dan's after the first one. He tried to organise one with you, me and Safka, remember? Then I had a family thing come up and I think you or Safka couldn't do it too and it fell by the wayside. Then Dan started getting a bit mental with hanging up on JohnnyComeLately for "talking too much" and it started to lose its appeal. I sort of mentioned it to my missus and she bluntly asked me "what's in it for you?" Good point. Best case scenario, I get a few laughs out of a bunch of people I don't really know and will never meet. Worst case, I dox myself and my family and/or earn the ire of the autists on here.

I kind of pussied out (in the sense that I didn't just say, nah I don't want to do it, you actually seem like a bit of an unstable prick) when he asked me to do it again but was quite surprised when he started posting supposedly private DMs. Especially Stu's as he'd left and has a handicapped kid to look after etc.

I was still up for doing one as a guest & was keen at the start, but as it progressed I anticipated being hung-up on just for bringing a bit of personality (talking too much). I was still undecided so just left things open.

Yeah, that’s the thing. Initially I thought that it was some bit between him and @JohnnyComeLately because the guy was actually just talking and not waiting to be told to talk which is what you want. Better than dead air. But then Johnny said on here that it was real and it took on a whole different light. It was pathetic. Come on my podcast but don't overshadow me or question the format or I'll dump you out and then screech about you for 10 minutes.

Yeah, he asked me to do it fairly early on when I was still enjoying listening to it and I said I would maybe do it down the line when I wasn't so busy if he thought it would help him out. He seemed to really want to get away from the Pat stuff which made no sense to me though and when he started losing his shit at people who were giving him their time I quietly decided I would never be doing that. A couple of people were calling me out for defending him on here but the reality was I just wanted Dan to go back to being the poster I used to really like and not the guy who was hanging up on people and then playing a five minute reference to an old radio show every time it happened.
