I don't drink, but I would call it 30 pack if I indeed decided to call it by something other than the standard "getting some beers"
I completely understand where @Heyfellas comes from where he calls it trashy because I have vivid memories of having a white trash neighbor calling it a 30 rack.

Years ago I was told by a college guy a 30 pack (or rack as used here which I have heard before) is also called a “brick” but I don’t think that’s a thing.
