The manga of Death Note came out in 2003 and the anime in 2006. They also parodied The Babadook, which came out in 2014 in the same Treehouse of Horror in 2022. They really have their fingers on the pulse, those modern Simpsons writers. It's not even that what they're parodying now isn't relevant though, it's just shit regardless.

I watched it. Its bad, but it's honestly not as terrible as most of newer Simpsons. The stuff with Ned was actually tolerable. Marges voice actress sounds like she's on her death bed. Ill stick to watching the Christmas pilot, Marge Not Be Proud, and the one where Bart burns all the presents.
